Rostre ("the app," "we," "us") is a family chore scheduling iOS application. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and your rights over that data.
Short version: your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account. We have no server. We collect nothing.
Rostre stores the following data locally on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, in your private iCloud account. None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party.
The following data is created by your use of the app and stored locally (and optionally in iCloud):
If you are signed into iCloud, Rostre uses Apple's CloudKit (via SwiftData) to sync your household data across your own devices. This sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Rostre does not have access to your iCloud data beyond what is written and read by the app itself on your behalf.

Rostre is designed for household use by families. It does not collect personal information through any server infrastructure, and is safe for use by children under parental supervision. Because we collect no personal information on our own servers, there is no data for us to delete on behalf of any user regardless of age.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where required, notify users through an app update release note. The current policy is always available at rostre.app/privacy.html.
